ToolsXChange: Day 5 of 5!

From Learning to Action

Our final day together began by looking back. After an intense week of exchanging tools, experiences, and perspectives, participants gathered for a collective debrief. What had we learned? What surprised us? What challenged us? Through individual reflection and group dialogue, we revisited key moments of the training and identified the ideas, methods, and practices that each person wanted to take home.

Following a coffee break hosted by our Turkish team, the focus shifted from reflection to action. Participants worked on translating their learning into concrete plans for their organisations and communities. Which tools could be adapted to their context? What activities could they implement with young people? What support would they need to make it happen?

The afternoon was dedicated to evaluation, dissemination, and Youthpass. Beyond assessing the training itself, participants reflected on their own learning journey, recognising the competences they had developed throughout the week. We also explored how to share the outcomes of the project, ensuring that the knowledge, tools, and inspiration generated during TOOLSxCHANGE continue to reach other youth workers and young people across Europe. Maria, Illia and Alex showed us how to do it right, doing a dissemination of their previous Erasmus project.

As the training came to an end, there was a shared sense that this was not really the end at all. New partnerships had been formed, ideas had been sparked, and future collaborations were already taking shape.

We closed the day with a final dinner in town, celebrating not only a successful training course, but also the connections, friendships, and community that had grown throughout the week. TOOLSxCHANGE may be over, but the exchange of tools, experiences, and learning continues.
